Indianapolis continues to show what it looks like when community, culture, and wellness come together with purpose. This week, Indy Black Professionals (IBP) hosted their Stretch & Socialize event at The AMP at 16 Tech, and Napshots was there to capture every moment.
The energy in the room was intentional from the start — welcoming, affirming, and focused on growth. Professionals from across the city gathered not just to move their bodies, but to reset their minds and expand their networks in a space designed for connection.

Wellness + Networking in One Space
The session was led by Tiny of Tiny Tapas Yoga, who guided attendees through a mindful yoga flow that was accessible for everyone — whether it was their first class or part of their daily routine.
Tiny shared how events like this go beyond fitness. They create space for:
Mental clarity and stress relief
Physical wellness and movement
Genuine connection between professionals
Community building rooted in support
In a fast-paced world, especially for entrepreneurs and working professionals, carving out time to breathe, stretch, and reconnect is powerful. And when that time also creates networking opportunities, it becomes even more impactful.
A Safe Space to Show Up As You Are
What made the evening special was the atmosphere. There was no pressure — just mats on the floor, open conversations, laughter, and people choosing to prioritize themselves while also pouring into one another.
Events like Stretch & Socialize reflect a larger movement happening in Indianapolis: wellness is no longer separate from professional growth. It’s becoming part of the ecosystem.
More to Come from IBP
If this event was any indication, Indy Black Professionals is just getting started. Their commitment to creating spaces that blend mental health, fitness, and networking is something the city needs more of.
Be on the lookout for more upcoming events from IBP — and if you haven’t tapped in yet, now is the time.
