Black History Month is a time to celebrate excellence, ownership, and impact—and one of the most powerful ways to do that is by supporting Black-owned businesses in our community.
This February, we’re spotlighting brands that are building, creating, and serving with purpose. From entrepreneurs and creatives to service providers and legacy businesses, we want to make sure the people doing the work get the recognition they deserve.

How to Participate
We’re opening nominations to everyone.
👉 Nominate a Black-owned company in the comments on this post.
You can nominate:
A business you own
A brand you support
A company that inspires you
A local or regional Black-owned business making an impact
There’s no limit—feel free to nominate more than one.
What Happens Next
Our team will review all nominations and compile a full public list, which will be officially published on February 1 in honor of Black History Month. The goal is visibility, support, and community connection—helping people discover and support Black-owned businesses all month long (and beyond).
Why This Matters
Visibility creates opportunity. When we highlight Black-owned businesses, we help:
Drive new customers and partnerships
Strengthen the local economy
Tell stories that deserve to be seen
Keep dollars circulating in the community
This is about celebration, not competition.
